Alison Pilling has spoken many times at Bettakultcha. This one took us a little by surprise, in a very lovely way. Sorry the camera got knocked halfway though.
Chris Squire as set Bettakultcha in fire before, literally he lit a twenty pound note previously! This time we didn’t need to fire extinguisher.
Emma Sutton is a seasoned, (can I say that?), Bettakultcha presenter. She knows how to give a talk which really pulls on your heartstrings and draws you in. Finding your diamond is yet another one of those. Sorry, we had a few colour issues with the projector.
Robert Norbury gives probably the most laid back Bettakultcha talk ever. In fact for some slides he just stands and looks. Dinner at Dave’s is a fascinating look into Psychogeography. Really inspired me to have a go myself.
Earlier this month we held a Bettakultcha in conjunction with Huddersfield Council as part of their Interchange project. It was a great night bringing Bettakultcha to a totally new audience who had no expectations at all. We think hope they left with a head full of ideas.
Here are some of the highlights, more will be added as we edit them.
