Bettakultcha Guest Blog Post | Robert St-John Smith

The second of our guest blog posts, thanks to Robert – twitter @chance4321

As far as I’m concerned, there are only two poems. The brilliance of these, means everything else is just Gibberish.
The first of these poems is Shelley’s Ozymandias “Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” – how cool is that ?

The second is Spike Milligan’s On the Ning Nang Nong, with its “Cows go Bong” and “the monkeys go Boo”

I encourage you to read both out loud, and put on your best booming Patrick Stewart or Bens Kingsley voice .

They will never be surpassed, the pedestal is set too high. I suggest we all go down the pub instead.
