Bettakultcha at Leeds Town Hall

Bettakultcha at the Town Hall update

You did it! Thank you for buying all the tickets for Bettakultcha at Leeds Town Hall! If you missed out, fear not we already have the next event lined-up. The best way to find out when and where it is, and have the chance to book before everyone else, join the Bettakultcha mailing list.

Thank you Richard and Ivor

Yes you read that right. Myself and Ivor are proud to announce that on January 9th Bettakultcha will be held in the historic Victoria Hall in Leeds Town Hall, yes the one with the massive organ! (couldn’t resist)

Needless to say we’re very excited and are working like idiots to ensure that this will be a very, very special Bettakultcha. One fitting for such an outstanding setting. The Victoria Hall will be set out “Cabaret” style with tables and chairs, so you get the Bettakultcha atmosphere and we have some amazing speakers lined up.

The rules are the same.

As always the rules of Bettakultcha won’t change. 20 slides, each change every 15 seconds, NO SALES PITCHES.

The Price is the same

Earlybird tickets are £5 rising to £7.50 closer to the event. Tickets are available from the Town Hall Booking office online and in person.

The setting is different!

We’ve been on a hell of a journey in the last three years in Leeds: Temple Works, Left Bank, Dock Street Market, Corn Exchange, D-fusion (remember that?), Shine, Brudenell Social Club. All amazing venues in their own right, for different reasons. The Town Hall really is special, just climbing the steps will be giving myself and Ivor goose bumps.

Amazing speakers

We’ve already lined-up some amazing speakers. We’re going to break with tradition and announce that Tom Riordan, Chief Executive of Leeds Council, is one of the lucky people to be getting a Bettakultcha badge on the night for presenting. We don’t know what his slides will be about be but he WON’T be talking about the council you can bank on that.

If you’d like to present please email with a short note on the subject you’re passionate about.

Betta be quick!

Tickets will sell fast for this so be quick and bag yourself a little something to brighten the New Year!

Look forward to seeing you in January
